Little Hotelier is software for small properties, powered by SiteMinder. It says it serves 53,000+ properties in 140+ countries and connects to 450+ booking channels. LobbyMind is a newer property system for guest houses, hotels and resorts with a published price per property, a channel manager in every plan, housekeeping on any phone, and a guest portal and copilot built in. Both offer a 30-day trial. The main differences are channel reach and payments, where Little Hotelier covers more, and housekeeping tasks and a guest portal, which LobbyMind includes in every plan.
The table above holds the facts. Every Little Hotelier claim links to its own pages, checked on the date at the end of this page. Where LobbyMind lacks something, we say so.
Price for a small property
Take a guest house with 12 rooms. On LobbyMind it fits Starter, one price per property for up to 15 rooms, from USD 29 a month, with the channel manager connection, guest web portal, statutory exports and copilot. A larger hotel moves to Growth, from USD 6 a room a month with a USD 99 minimum.
Little Hotelier's pricing page asks how many bookable rooms you have and then shows a monthly price for its Pro plan, before tax. Some features, Hotel Metasearch and Channels Plus, carry variable booking fees based on your bookings, and payments carry transaction fees. Enter your own room count on their pricing page to compare.
Both start with a 30-day trial. Little Hotelier says there is no lock-in contract. LobbyMind's trial runs on Growth and includes the switch package: free import with a dry run, a parallel run on request, and training.
Channels and direct bookings
This is Little Hotelier's strength. It is part of SiteMinder and lists 450+ booking channels, plus Channels Plus to reach more through one connection, and metasearch on Trivago or Google Hotel Ads.
LobbyMind's channel manager connection reaches 78 channels, among them Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb and Agoda, and is in every plan. A booking for an unmapped room or a closed night is held, and your manager is told what to map. If you list only on Airbnb or Vrbo, per-room iCal sync is included too.
For direct bookings, Little Hotelier includes a booking engine in Pro and sells a website builder as an add-on. LobbyMind sells both the booking engine and a property website as add-ons priced on request.
Payments
Little Hotelier Payments has no setup or subscription cost; you pay transaction fees.
LobbyMind takes card payments through one gateway today, the Bank of Maldives (BML) gateway, by pay link. Outside the Maldives LobbyMind cannot charge a card for you yet, so you would take payment on your own terminal and record it on the folio.
Running the day
Little Hotelier centres on a calendar of all reservations, with insights, a mobile app and the channel manager.
LobbyMind starts the day on a Today board: arrivals, departures and in-house guests by time, with room status beside each stay. The reservations calendar shows every room and night, and warns before an overbooking. Housekeeping and maintenance share one task list that staff open on their own phone. There is no native app: the portal runs in the phone's browser. Each night the night audit posts room charges and moves the business date.
Guests
Little Hotelier sells Guest Engagement as an add-on, for guest communication and local compliance.
LobbyMind includes a guest web portal on every plan. Guests check in, ask for things and order from their phone, in 8 languages including right-to-left Arabic and Dhivehi. Requests become tasks for the right team. The WhatsApp inbox is planned and not yet available.
Support
Little Hotelier lists 24/7 chat and email support, phone support and an onboarding specialist.
LobbyMind's switch package includes support on WhatsApp in Dhivehi and English during set hours, and role-based training for your team. We do not offer support around the clock.
How to choose
- Count your channels. If you sell on more than LobbyMind's 78, Little Hotelier reaches more.
- Check payments. Outside the Maldives, Little Hotelier can take cards for you and LobbyMind cannot yet.
- Weigh staff work. If housekeeping, maintenance and guest requests are a daily job, try LobbyMind's task list and guest portal.
- Enter your room count on both pricing pages and compare a year.

Where Little Hotelier fits better
- You sell on many channels. Little Hotelier lists 450+ booking channels; LobbyMind reaches 78.
- You want the booking engine and card payments in the same subscription, and you are outside the Maldives, where LobbyMind has no payment gateway yet.
- You want a native mobile app and support around the clock.
- You want metasearch and dynamic pricing recommendations from the same vendor as your channel manager.
