What it does
- Guests pay with local and foreign cards on BML’s hosted page, with 3-D Secure.
- Send a pay link, or let the confirmation email carry it, for a deposit or a balance.
- A payment is settled only after LobbyMind has asked BML’s API for the transaction.
- Cards are charged in Maldivian rufiyaa or US dollars. You refund in the BML merchant portal, or by API where BML has enabled it.

Set it up
Open the App store and choose the Bank of Maldives (BML) gateway.
Enter the application ID and API key from Connect > Applications in the BML merchant portal, on Test first.
Run the connection test, then take a deposit with a test card from start to end.
Switch to Live and choose whether you refund in the BML portal or through the API.

Which currencies can guests pay in?
BML Connect charges cards in Maldivian rufiyaa and US dollars.
Can we hold a card and charge it later?
No. BML publishes no authorise-and-capture or stored-card charge, so deposits and balances go by pay link.
How do we know a payment went through?
BML notifies LobbyMind by webhook, and LobbyMind asks BML’s API for the transaction before it settles the payment.
